Happy Thanksgiving!

As the smell of turkey takes over my house, I can't help but think of all we have done this past year. All that I am thankful for.

My family is so wonderful. Like all families we have our quirks, but I wouldn't change a thing for the world. We have new members, ones who moved away and ones that moved back. Some are fighting the battles of their lives, and others are welcoming new life to the world.

My friends have been steadfast and true. There for the happy time and the bad. Some are old, from years past, and others are new stepping in when needed. The joy of friendship amazes me time and time again.

My health. I am totally knocking on wood here, but I have avoided so much this year that has been brought into our house. From strep, to pink eye and pneumonia. Taking care of my family is a joy, staying healthy is just as big!

My job. While at times it drives me CRAZY, it has been a great place to work the past 5 years. I have friends there that I never would have met without working there, and can't even imagine where I would be without that place.

Our home. Chaos reigns, and it may look like disaster more then not but it is home. It is our home, where our children rest their heads after a rough day, and where we celebrate the minor things in life.

I hope you are all having a wonderful Thanksgiving. Enjoy the time with your family, hug your kids and think of your friends.
