And we are off...

Well, K got to Kindergarten today without a hitch. At first we couldn't figure out where her bus stop was, because they changed it from where it was last year. But we found it, took a picture and she climbed on very bravely. I got in the car and went to her school and met her teacher. They didn't get to have an open house due to construction, so this was our chance. We found her cubbie, put away her supplies, found her a spot to sit("Look Mom, a yellow table", she wanted the purple table, but it was full) and paid attention to her teacher. After about 30 minutes in her room, I got a shaky smile and wave and she was off. My little girl is now a Kindergartner.
So after a few tears (mine) and a great start we are now the parents of an elementary school kid and a middle school kid. wow...
