Time for another week of You Capture hosted by Beth at I Should be Folding Laundry. This weeks assignment: Rustic.
We spent Easter day at my Dad's in a farm populated area. I knew having my camera handy would pan out, at least until my camera died. Lovely.
Here are the two shots I got before that happened.
Here is Dad's tractor. I love the colors on it, and the lingering dirt from his last chore add to the character.
Hay bales always mean old farm land to me. When we were leaving the stables, I had to snap a couple pictures. This one turned out the best.

Those bales of hay just make me want to scramble up and jump off over and over. Gorgeous capture, thanks for sharing!
I love the bales of hay! I grew up in the country, and I always loved seeing fields full of those.
Great Captures!
Both of these have great contrast between light and shadow.
great choices - the hay looks like fun and the tractor colors are rich and bright - great captures :O)
i have my "rustic" shots posted, feel free to come on over to The Shadow of the Cross and visit for awhile :O)
now the hay bales are AWESOME!
I love the hay bales!
Great job! And how lucky you are to have a farm handy!
Great job.
Great job this week! I love the colors in the shot of the tractor and I'm always a sucker for hay bays. Your composition on the second one is wonderful!
Your tractor shot definitely has character! I love it. We have nothing NOTHING like that around here. The biggest tractor we have is the neighbor's lawn tractor. These photos are making me long for the country! Then again, ever read Country Mouse City Mouse? The barn cat would probably eat me.
Great captures!
Very nice shots!
I love the hay bales! Reminds me of my parents' home town!
I so dig the tractor!!! (Get it? Wow...What a nerd...) I love the colors and the contrasting. I want to visit your parents' farm. It looks like a ton of fun! Great photos!!!
these are very rustic to me...love 'em! Great job!
