Here are the rules:
List seven songs that you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re not any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now, shaping your Summer of 2008. Music is huge in our house, and my life as I have explained so many times. So let's get started shall we.
1) Because Boo is usually in the car with me, we have my ipod tuned to her favorite songs. Lately, all she wants to listen to is Jonas Brothers and Camp Rock. Her favorite is "This is Me" by Demi LoVato and Joe Jonas. I like this song, because it actually has a good message for Boo. Unless I get Radio Disney in, then she can't wait for the new High School Musical song "Now or Never" to come on. Then she screams. I kid you not. Ear pain...
2) Summertime by New Kids on the Block. I am just a dork like that, and I lurv them. Donny...yummy. My mom is rolling her eyes now...bet you anything. I recently saw pictures of me from horse camp long ago, sporting a black New Kids hat. It was wonderful and I looked great! lol
3) "Johnny and June" by Heidi Newfield (formally of Trick Pony) is one that plays over and over on my ipod during the day, for a couple reasons. I love Heidi's voice, the throaty-ness is wonderful.

I love Johnny Cash, and his life with June Carter Cash. He changed his life for love, and that is something so many people can relate too. If only all love was like that.
Lastly, the first line of the song is "Well, there's something about a man in black..." and hubby always dresses in his black wranglers and black shirts and I get all warm and fuzzy.
4) I am not ashamed to admit that I love Jessica Simpson's debut country song. Her voice sound so much more natural in country. Probably something to do with her southern roots.
5) Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" is another repeat player in the car and at work. I love him, and absolutely love his new album. This entire album is great, including his lovely song to an ex...wonder which one that is...
6) Alan Jackson is an artist that I have listened to since I was a little kid. "Chattahoochee" was one of the first songs of his that I heard. But, this summer "Good Time" is a huge song, and I love it.
Last but not least...
Alright. I am not going to tag specific bloggers. I am going to leave it open to everyone. This one had my going through my ipod and listening to songs I had forgotten were on there. Thanks Kara!!

I love your songs!! And reading your post makes me want to put on my boots and have WB drag me around the dance floor, boy it's been awhile since we've done that:)
Oh, this is a fun meme. I might have to steal it. I love to see what other people are listening too, it gives me new inspiration and ideas.
Great! Love your songs. I have such eclectic taste as far as genre goes, but all of the music I listen to is upbeat. I can't stand sad songs. I have an ipod meme coming up tomorrow! It is different than this one. It must be the thing to do this summer!
I like Jessica's new country song too!
