Sincerely Fro Me to you - Wolf Ridge

This is the first week of Sincerely Fro Me to You, a new carnival hosted by We Are THAT Family.

Today we are going back to 5th grade. This was the year that our class went to Wolf Ridge (ELC). It was such a good time! Rock Walls, Zip Line Courses, winter hikes, and winter survival (I could make a fire in the snow!).

The Rock Wall was great, but I have a slight fear of heights. My Dad was up with us that first year, and he had to get me down...meaning climbing up there and getting me down. I never went that high again!

But, did you know that if you dissect an owl pellet, you can put an entire animal skeleton together. That is a fact you never needed to know...but how fun was it to do.

Head on over to We Are THAT Family and check out the other blasts from the past!

What a great photo and a great Dad! My Dad had to climb up this huge wall once to get me down. I was about the same age-not as old as I thought!

Thanks for the info about the owl pellet. The bloggy world is so informative! Thanks for participating!

Ick! We did the owl pellet thing at the zoo with Girl Scouts. Thanks for sharing.

That looks like a cool thing to do in 5th grade. We never did anything fun like that.

Owl Pellets, I never knew.

OMG, I'm so glad I had a boring 5th grade. I was/am afraid of heights, so I would have been a wreck. Plus I wouldn't have trusted anyone to get those ropes and things all in order. Yeah, I was a mess in 5th grade.

I am terrified of heights so I can feel your pain. Isn't it great you had a Dad to help you in your moment of need?
