The final week is here. The Great Cookie Bake Off 2007 is coming to an end. We are going to end this fun time with a long time favorite. Peanut Butter Blossoms are a cookie we make every year. The kids love to push the kisses into the cookie and eat them while they melt away. We use the Betty Crocker Recipe most often at my house, at Sister's house we make them from scratch. Here is the Betty Crocker recipe, it is super easy, and so good.
1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) peanut butter cookie mix
1 tablespoon water
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 egg
Sugar 3
Hershey®'s Kisses® milk chocolates, unwrapped
Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, water, oil and egg until dough forms.
Shape dough into thirty-six 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Immediately press 1 chocolate in center of each cookie.
Remove from cookie sheets.
Cool completely, about 20 minutes.
Don't those sound great! I can taste them now! You can also decorate the Kisses with sprinkles and gels. It is a fun cookie for the kids, and a favorite all around!
