I have my first PTO meeting tonight. My mom keeps telling me to sit on my hands, otherwise I will be speaking up every chance I get. This will be my "trying to figure out what is going on" meeting. I just know that if I open my mouth, I will volunteer for everything, and there is not that kind of time.

Ah, PTO. Our first meeting hasn't been scheduled yet, BUT I volunteered last year to be the Box Tops for Education and Campbell's Soup Label coordinator. And already, whenever I stop in at the office at school, I'm inundated with people throwing labels at me.
