Painting is fun...or that is what I am telling myself

My weekend has been spent painting, canning and cleaning. More the first two than the last, but oh well. Boo's room is up for painting, and of course it is taking so much longer than I thought it could. But she is helping, not sure if that is a good thing or a bad...

On top of painting her room, I am painting some of her furniture too. Her bed was old and beaten up, a garage sale find a couple years ago. Her night stand used to be Hunters, but with the room switch he had to pick between two and he chose his sports one. So sanding, painting, priming and sealing have taken over the weekend, and just might tomorrow too.

Actually, I know it will but that is okay. We are having our "house warming" at the end of the month, and I want it all done by then. We also will be painting the kitchen in a couple weeks, after I peel some wall paper that if anything like Boo's room is held up with SUPER GLUE. Ug!

I am going to rest my sore and painful hands...who knew painting was such laborus work!
