What I Learned this Week - Stellan Style

It's is time for another week of What I Learned this Week hosted by Musings of a Housewife.

This week has been hard so far, and that is true for many bloggers that are following MckMamma and Stellan's extremely difficult past few days. Her blog is updated as she can, but she tweets like crazy! You can follow the story here.

Stellan has touched so many lives, and being a "local boy" he has even made the evening news with the amount of tweets that are following the #prayingforstellan hashtag on Twitter and the amount of comments on My Charming Kids.

Two weeks ago I had the chance to meet MckMamma, and a whole slew of bloggers that met (for the most part) because of her struggles with Stellan. It amazed me to see all these women coming together with someone they had never met IRL to eat, chat and get to know one another.

This week has shown me the power of Bloggers. So many people have banded together to support and pray for this special wonderful little boy. The people from all over the world that are concerned, and wanting to help in any way that they can.

The power of bloggers always amazes me. So many of us are here to support each other, and no matter the situation, we are there.

It makes me proud to be a blogger, proud to be a part of this group of women.

I have learned the same lessons. I have felt encouraged that so many bloggers have been keeping Stellan into their hearts and prayers.

In the last week, I have experienced personally how powerful the blogging and twitter community really is. I too am keeping Stellan constantly in my prayers.

Great post about the positve side of blogging - it is a wonderful witness of how MckMama and others are sharing their faith through difficult circumstances.
