Road Trip Soundtracks

Next month a couple ladies and I are taking an overnight road trip. No, I will not tell you yet what we are doing, BUT I am freakishly giddy with excitement. I know, I am strange, but SERIOUSLY - Very excited here. Plus, I get to meet Melody...and Paula if I can convince her!

So, here is my dilemma. We are looking at an almost 4 hour drive, Right now we have 51 songs ready to put on a cd for the "Road Trip Soundtrack", but I want MORE! You know I am a music hound, and I am spacing on ideas for more. We have Kelly Clarkson, Led Zeppelin, Rascal Flatts, Pat Benatar and Nelly already on board (plus so many more), but would love to hear your suggestions.

What do you think is your perfect road trip song? All three of us like a wide variety of music so we are open to pretty much anything. I even debated putting a Yanni song on there, but didn't know how they would appreciate that one.

"All Night Long"?? by Rascal Flatts (the one from the Cars soundtrack), "Landslide" by Dixie Chicks, "Hard to Handle" by Black Crows, "Love Shack" by B52's, "Rock and Roll" by Eric Hutchinson, "Our Song" by Taylor Swift and "Pretty Vegas" by INXS. There's a few that I love to sing along to... :)

Since I know where you are heading I'm just wondering when it is... Will I be back home? Of course we've already met so I'm not that exciting...

Wha? If you can convince me? I'm about to pee my pants from excitement! I need details!

Road trip songs..."If You Leave" by OMD (Think "Sixteen Candles"); anything by Pearl Jam; Dave Matthews Band; Blues Traveler; "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince. :)

By the way, I just read about your new sewing machine...congrats! I have one that was my in-law's and I can't even figure out how to thread the darn thing. I'm sure you'll be much more successful! :)

Oh wow, I could go hog wild here....

-Do you think I'm sexy by Rod Stewart -Life is a Highway (CARS Soundtrack) - Your eyes don't lie (David Archuleta) - Motownphilly (Boyz 2 Men- some old school) - Um... the song from Queen - oh, its on the tip of my tongue... Bohemian Rhapsody (I'm glad I thought of that or I'd spend all day thinking about it) - All I wanna Do by Sugarland.

I could really go on for ages, but I won't clog up your comments. I may be back later with more.
