What I learned this week - My Family

What did you learn this week?

I learned that my close family really cares, even if they make fun of me in the process.

On the day of our break in (if you would even call it that), my Mom and Dad were the first people I called (beside Hubby and the police). Hubby called his Mom and Dad. It was instinct, and it was right for both of us. (My next would have been Big Sis, but she was dealing with something so I told her later on.)

For the next few hours I fielded phone calls from the family, wanting to make sure I was okay, and get their digs in (I was called Sleeping Beauty a few times).

Even now, almost a week later I am still getting little jibes, but I don't mind in the least. Because this week was rough, and my family was there for me.

Head on over to Musings of a Housewife for more What I Learned this Week posts.

Family is so great when they are close like that. I love my family too. I am glad they were there for you.

Sorry to hear about the break-in though! Hope this week is better.

Sorry to hear about the break-in. How awful. It truly is a blessing to have family support.

Sometimes we need a little wake-up call, I guess. Glad you can see a silver lining! :-)
