Yesterday was an exciting day. Not only was it Joel's birthday, Happy Birthday Man, but Katie overcame a huge fear, she went in the pool by herself and walked around. Not a wading pool either, the 3 feet deep side of the pool. While she had a back floaty on, she still had to control herself, so that was huge. After a couple face dives, she got the hang of it. Next step Swim Lessons! It may seem small, but to her, it is very important. She wants to go down all the water slides, and knows she can't until she knows how to swim. It takes time, and we have all the time in the world.
